Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
Open Sign up, enter the Student ID or mobile your college registered with SMU, verify the OTP sent to your phone, then set a password. Your record is matched against the roster your college supplied.
I'm not in my college's roster — what now?
Sign-up only works for students your college has submitted to SMU. If you are not found, contact your college office to have your record added or corrected, then try again.
I forgot my password.
On the Login page, tap Forgot password? and verify an OTP sent to your registered mobile to set a new password.
How do I get my admit card?
Complete exam & course registration and pay the fee. Once the Controller of Examinations approves it, your admit card becomes available to view and print from your dashboard.
How does document verification work?
Every SMU document carries a QR code and a verification code. Anyone can scan the QR or enter the code on the public verification page to confirm it is authentic — only minimal details are shown, and lookups are rate-limited.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Fees are paid online through SSLCommerz, which supports bKash, Nagad, Rocket, cards and internet banking. A receipt is generated automatically on success.
